Speaking at the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Akure branch’s end-of-the-year dinner, Adegoroye stated that the proposed budget has the potential to address Nigeria’s economic and security challenges, ultimately improving the nation’s fortunes.
Adegoroye, who sponsored the dinner, urged legal practitioners to uphold professional ethics and discharge their duties with integrity. He also commended the 2025 budget proposal of N49.7 trillion, highlighting its bold plans for infrastructural and security development.
“The proposed budget will address critical economic and security issues, and President Tinubu’s assurance of improved security will foster investor confidence in Nigeria,” Adegoroye said.
During the event, Adegoroye launched the NBA Akure branch football team, which was renamed “Prince Adegoroye Babes” in his honor. He pledged to sponsor and equip the team for future tournaments. The dinner was attended by notable figures, including judges, former NBA chairmen, and executives of the branch.
