    A tragic incident occurred in Lagos this morning when a suspected drunk driver rammed into a group of soldiers, killing four and injuring several others. The soldiers, from the Myoung Barracks in Somolu, were on their routine monthly road jog outside the barracks when the incident happened .

    According to eyewitnesses, the driver, who appeared to be intoxicated, lost control of his Toyota vehicle and struck the soldiers during their morning drills. The vehicle was reportedly occupied by three young men suspected to be internet fraudsters, commonly known as “Yahoo Boys” .

    The impact of the crash left four soldiers dead and several others injured. In the aftermath, one of the suspects fled the scene, while the other two were apprehended by the enraged locals. The two were reportedly beaten severely, and their vehicle was vandalized by the crowd .
