Actress and media personality, Nancy Isime,has shared her vision for early retirement and her journey of hard work during a recent interview on CreativiTEA podcast .
Isime disclosed that she has been working since 17, with a clear goal of achieving financial security before an early retirement.
“The accomplished role interpreter shared her career aspirations, stating, ‘I have been working diligently since the age of 17, with the goal of achieving early retirement. To accomplish this, I am dedicating myself to my work now, so that by the time I retire at an age considered early by societal standards, my extensive portfolio and achievements will serve as a testament to my hard work and dedication.’
She also highlighted the significance of appreciating the journey, rather than solely focusing on the end result. ‘We often prioritize seeing the end results before embarking on a task. However, I believe it’s essential to be intentional about enjoying the process and the journey, recognizing that true fulfillment comes from the journey itself, rather than the destination.'”
“She attributes her success to embracing challenges and small steps, rather than shying away from them. ‘I believe that struggles are an essential part of my journey, and I’m not ashamed to share them,’ she said. ‘In fact, I keep all my posts on Instagram as a reminder of my progress and growth.’
Nancy also emphasized the importance of establishing a strong foundation, drawing inspiration from biblical principles. ‘Just as the Bible says, “building on solid rock” ensures stability and resilience in the face of adversity,’ she explained. ‘I’ve applied this principle to my life, building a strong foundation that has enabled me to weather challenges and achieve success.'”
