Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, Umar Damagum, led a delegation to visit Yobe State Governor Mai Buni, offering condolences for recent tragedies in the state. The visit addressed the devastating Mafa attack, where suspected Boko Haram insurgents looted and burned shops and houses, and the flooding in Bade Local Government Area that claimed at least 20 lives.
It’s worth noting that Lawan has been involved in similar condolence visits in the past. For instance, he and Governor Buni recently visited Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to condole with him over the loss of Senator Kumo . These visits highlight the importance of showing support and solidarity during times of grief.
